VIOPHTAN NR 5 - Bioregulator of Sclera of the Eye

VIOPHTAN NR 5 is a protein-peptide eye balm. Targeted peptide-based modulator of the visual analyzer. Used as eye drops.

Indications for use:

• Traumatic, postoperative, scleral damage;
• Progressive myopia in childhood;
• High myopia.

Composition:

1 ml of sterile solution contains: demineralized water 8.5±0.2 mg NaCl; 0.1±0.01 mg CaCI₂ and 10^-8-10^-9 mg protein-peptide complex.

Source of bioregulator isolation: sclera of the eye of young bulls.

Physiological action:

• Prevents elongation of the eyeball (the anterior-posterior segment, or APS) in progressive myopia.
• Promotes strengthening and restoration of elasticity of scleral tissue, especially in children.
• Activates physiological regeneration after injury.

Mode of application:

Viophtan is instilled into the eyes, 1-2 drops at a time, 2-4-6 times, depending on the condition.

Different Viophtans are instilled at intervals of at least 10 minutes.
