VIOPHTAN NR 4 - Bioregulator of Retinal Pigment Epithelium

VIOPHTAN NR 4 is a protein-peptide eye balm. Targeted peptide-based modulator of the visual analyzer. Used as eye drops.

Indications for use:

• Retinitis pigmentosa;
• Macular degeneration;
• Retinal pathology;
• Vasoconstrictive effect;
• Retinal pigment layer detachment.

Composition:

1 ml of sterile solution contains: demineralized water 8.5±0.2 mg NaCl; 0.1±0.01 mg CaCI₂ and 10^-8-10^-9 mg protein-peptide complex.

Source of bioregulator isolation: retinal pigment epithelium of young bulls.

Physiological action:

• Promotes the restoration of retinal pigment cell function, photoreceptors, and the interphotoreceptor matrix.
• It has a protective effect on the cellular sources of retinal regeneration - Müller glia, bipolar cells, and amacrine cells (in combination with Viophtan 3).
• It promotes the removal of excess fluid from the vitreous body of the eyeball.
• It restores the blood-retinal barrier by regulating the synthesis and function of the melanin pigment.
• It inhibits the formation of lipofuscin (an aging pigment).

Mode of application:

Viophtan is instilled into the eyes, 1-2 drops at a time, 2-4-6 times, depending on the condition.

Different Viophtans are instilled at intervals of at least 10 minutes.
