VIOPHTAN NR 6 - Corneal Epithelial Bioregulator

VIOPHTAN NR 6 is a protein-peptide eye balm. Targeted peptide-based modulator of the visual analyzer. Used as eye drops.

Indications for use:

• Eye injuries: contusions and consequences of penetrating wounds;
• Corneal burns: thermal, chemical;
• Inflammatory diseases of the cornea: erosions, ulcers;
• Keratitis: viral, bacterial;
• Corneal opacity of any origin;
• Epithelial-endothelial dystrophy of the cornea (keratopathy);
• Post-keratoplasty conditions, keratoconus;
• Dry eye syndrome;
• Sjogren's syndrome;
• Long-term contact lens use;
• Prevention after vision correction with an excimer laser.

Composition:

1 ml of sterile solution contains: demineralized water 8.5±0.2 mg NaCl; 0.1±0.01 mg CaCI₂ and 10^-10-10^-11 mg protein-peptide complex.

Source of bioregulator isolation: cornea of the eye of young bulls.

Physiological action:

• Ensures effective corneal epithelialization;
• Restores the structure of the corneal epithelium, stroma, and endothelium;
• Prevents the formation of corneal opacities;
• Promotes the resorption of corneal opacities and has a pronounced antiviral effect.

Mode of application:

Viophtan is instilled into the eyes, 1-2 drops at a time, 2-4-6 times, depending on the condition.

Different Viophtans are instilled at intervals of at least 10 minutes.
